Co-Ash Resources has teamed up with Wastemart for its collected waste, technological partnered with GE, Siemens Energy, Afrox Linde, Novo Energy, Power X, Omni and the City of Cape Town to provide a solution for gas/ sludge/MSW for best benefit to the Athlone Community in biogas /CNG/hydrogen electricity generation, and job creation. This project will provide from 10MW (from 5000 GJ/day gas ) to 400MW when integrated with gas over the next twenty years as a modular implementation starting small scale. Final negotiations are taking place as the City moves to align with new embedded generation process. In this project CAR will capture 50 tons/day of Carbon Dioxide per day , and abate a minimum of 200 GHG equivalent tons @400kgCO2e per ton.
